Welcome to Raisity ("Raisity," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Raisity mobile application, website, or related services (collectively, the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Raisity is intended for use by adults (18+) to help guide their families in understanding AI technology. By using this App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
1. Purpose of the App
Raisity is an educational and informational resource designed to help parents understand and navigate artificial intelligence tools and concepts with their children. Our services include:
- Daily AI news with safety verdicts
- Age-appropriate learning journeys for family members
- AI-powered guidance for parenting questions
- Safety database of AI tool reviews
Important: Raisity provides educational guidance, not professional advice. Our content is not a substitute for professional legal, medical, psychological, or educational consultation.
2. User Responsibilities
As a user of Raisity, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information when creating your account
- Use only nicknames (not real names) for child profiles
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
- Supervise any use of the App by children in your care
- Use the App only for its intended educational purposes
- Not attempt to circumvent safety features or parental gates
Raisity does not act as a teacher, babysitter, safety monitor, or decision-maker.
3. Prohibited Uses
You may not use Raisity to:
- Generate harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content
- Circumvent AI safety guardrails or content filters
- Collect information about other users
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the App
- Attempt to reverse engineer the App or its systems
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Violation may result in account termination.
4. AI Disclaimer & No Warranty
Artificial intelligence is an evolving technology. Raisity does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, legality, or safety of:
- AI-generated content
- Third-party AI tools referenced or recommended
- Outputs produced by those tools
All AI-driven content is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We recommend verifying important information independently.
5. No Educational Guarantee
Raisity provides guidance and frameworks for AI literacy only. We make no guarantees regarding:
- Academic performance
- School admissions
- Career outcomes
- Skill mastery
Any scores, badges, or "Ready Scores" are engagement indicators, not academic assessments.
6. Third-Party Services
The App may reference or link to third-party services. Raisity:
- Does not control those services
- Is not responsible for their content or behavior
- Does not endorse their outputs
Use of third-party tools is at your own risk.
7. Subscriptions & Payments
Billing
All subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's terms of service for in-app purchases.
Subscription Plans
- Free Plan: Limited features at no cost
- Monthly Plan: $14.99/month, billed monthly
- Annual Plan: $99.99/year, billed annually (includes 7-day free trial)
- Founding Family Membership: $199.99 one-time payment for lifetime access (limited availability)
Free Trials
Annual subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends. After the trial, your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods except where required by law.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Raisity shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including emotional distress, data loss, or educational outcomes.
Raisity is not responsible for any decisions made based on information provided through the App. Parents remain solely responsible for supervising their children's technology use.
Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the past twelve (12) months.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of Raisity—including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software—are the exclusive property of Raisity or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Content may not be copied, modified, or redistributed without permission.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by using the "Delete Account" feature in the App settings.
We may also modify, suspend, or terminate the App or any feature at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. If we discontinue the App entirely, our sole obligation is a pro-rated refund of unused prepaid subscription time, at our discretion.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website.
